TBE (Tris-EDTA) is suitable for use in molecular biology at a concentration of 1X-50X. The liquid form in 10X concentration can be diluted with distilled water or deionized water, making it easy to prepare 1XTE working solution. In 1XTE concentration, its pH is between 7.9-8.1 at 25°C. Buffer does not contain Protease, DNase and RNase. TE buffer can also be used as a washing solution.
